A REGULAR MEETING AND BREAKFAST
will take place on
SUNDAY, November 18th, 2007, 10:00 A.M. SHARP
AT THE LIPA GREEN BLDG., 4600 BATHURST ST., Room 419-420
Parking at the Lipa Green Parking Lot
The Breakfast is sponsored by Sol and Rita Secemski,
and Phil and Shelli Buchwalter, in loving memory of their parents,
Louis (who was a vice-president of the Chenstochover Hils Farein
and an active member of the Society) and Bella Buchwalter;
Leo and Betty Secemski, and Sonny and Rhoda Weinstein O.B.M.
We thank all those who have sponsored Breakfasts in the past.
You are doing a double mitzvah: honouring your loved ones and freeing up
Society money to allow contributions to Israel and other Jewish, charitable institutions.
Todah Rabah and Yasher Koach!
We thank Rosa and Leon Zarek for sponsoring our September Breakfast in
loving memory of their son, Jacob Samuel Zarek k"z. Their generous donation of
$1,000 to the Chenstochover U.J.A. Endowment Fund
will be a lasting honour to their son’s memory.
AGENDA
Brothers and Sisters, we hope that you will attend this meeting, take part in the discussions and hear the reports of Society and Sisterhood activities, as well as being informed as to how the Society’s charitable donations are helping the Jewish community, here and in Israel. The Executive Meeting will take place immediately following the Membership Meeting.
We extend sincere condolences to Betty Richmon, and her family, on the passing
of her dear husband, Abraham Richmon O.B.M. May you all not know any more sorrow.
We wish all members who are ill a speedy recovery, so that they may enjoy the blessing of good health.
Please note: If you would like to honour a loved one, or the memory of a loved one, by sponsoring a breakfast, please call a member of our Social Committee, Linda Neufeld or Rita Kochen.
We draw the attention of the Society Members to send their cheques, made out to the Chenstochover Aid Society, to the address of our Financial Secretary:
S. GARBER.
In case of sickness, if you like to be visited, please call our Hospitaler Jean Borkowski.
For change of address, or to announce your family’s extra-special celebrations in our newsletters, please notify Roslyn Keri.
We wish everyone who is leaving for the winter a safe trip south and back; and to all our
membership a healthy and enjoyable winter.
We look forward to our next Breakfast in the New Year.
Fraternally yours,
EPHRAIM FIKSEL, President

ABE NEUFELD, Vice-President
HELEN TALSKY Recording Secretary
